BEINVENIDOS A CABO
Los Cabos - A place that has it all
Cabo San Lucas is a city located at the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula which has not only beautiful desert landscapes & beaches, it is also known worldwide for being one of the most popular vacation destinations, the Marlin Capital and home of The Arch, also called "Land’s End", where the Sea of Cortez & the Pacific Ocean meet.
It is hard to believe that at Cabo San Lucas started as nothing more than a fishing village with a few settlers. Cabo has transformed over time to become a very lively town with bustling nightlife, beautiful beaches and amazing food. What makes Los Cabos so special is the range of experiences you can have there. Whether you are looking for authentic chow with live music at a local’s restaurant, fine dining over the ocean, or even farm-to-table woodfire pizza, there’s something for everyone. Please ask the bride and groom for recommendations!
Cabo is one of Aleana & Charley’s favorite places in the world. They could not be more excited to share the magic of this special town with their family and loved ones.
Flora Farms $$ - A farm-to-table restaurant off the beaten path. If you are willing to make the drive down a dirt road you will be rewarded with an absolutely delicious restaurant where everything is grown just around you. The bloody mary is so good it made Aleana cry out of happiness. We considered getting married here but we thought everyone would rather be by the ocean. This would be a perfect Saturday brunch trip. We might go then :)
EL Farallon at Pedregal $$$$ - The Pedregal is an outstanding hotel with some incredible architecture. Just getting to the hotel is an experience, as you it has a dedicated tunnel entrance that cuts directly through a mountain a-la James Bond. One the hotel’s biggest draws is their flagship restaurant El Farallon. This extravagant seafood specialist is built into the cliffs on the Pacific side of the Baja Peninsula. The spectacle of the space alone might be worth the admittedly high price of admission, but the per-ounce selection of fish directly from the sea in front of you will seal the deal.
Esperanza Hotel
Getting here
Esperanza is a 30min drive from Cabo’s San Jose International Airport (SJD). Daily direct flights are available from Los Angeles, New York, Dallas and other major US cities. Many airlines service SJD including American, Southwest, Delta and United.
HOT TIP: Bring a pen on the airplane for your customs paperwork!
Getting Around
option 1: Let the Hotel handle it
Should you wish for arrival transportation; private, hotel-chauffeured transfers are available from the airport to the resort at the current rate of $135.00 plus 16% government tax and 15% service charge per vehicle for up to five guests each way (prevailing rates at the time of arrival will apply).
Please contact: esp.concierge@aubergeresorts.com
Option 2: A Shuttle Service
All Ways Cabo Transportation is another great shuttle service to and from the airport. We usually get the suburban and it costs $90 each way. https://www.allwayscabotransportation.com/
Rental cars are available through all major car providers at SJD. If you would like to explore the area or Baja more extensively, or are extending your trip, we would encourage a rental car.
Notes
Please note that Uber is not available in the Cabo area. Taxis are abundant and can be easily summoned by your hotel or restaurant front desk.
❗❗❗ When you arrive in Cabo, after exiting baggage claim/ customs, there are going to be merchants trying to get your attention or ask for your transportation information. They seem like they work at the airport. They don’t. Just ignore and keep walking until you’re out of the airport. You will see your shuttle service upon exiting. ❗❗❗
